The Forward Collection
The collection is a momentous step in the evolution of the Vladimir Kagan brand, conceived by Chris Eitel, Kagan’s longtime protégé, now director of design and production for the Vladimir Kagan Design Group. Each piece demonstrates Eitel’s fluency in Kagan’s practice, resulting in a collection that nods to the brand DNA while subtly pushing the design language in innovative directions.

Big Picture Sofa is a contemporary design that pushes the boundaries of iconic Kagan details. At a glance, the double-crescent form creates the illusion that it is nested. Instead, the seat cantilevers from the back in a true feat of engineering, balanced by the zaftig outer crescent back.
The Bienenstock Coffee Table is a contemporary design incorporating distinct Kagan details. The table was inspired by the Omnibus Collection and its signature Lucite bases, a clear nod to a defining Kagan material. Precision manufacturing allows the piece to fit together seamlessly, including a decorative storage box to float within the design. The storage box is finished in a tortoiseshell pattern with shimmering gold-leaf underlay, or is offered in a range of colored lacquers and lined with the customer’s own choice of fabric or leather.

The Strata Chandelier is a study in line, plane and volume, shown at the Holly Hunt Trade Only Showroom and to you with Glen Lusby Interiors. Inspired by the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, this striking piece has several cleverly integrated LEDs, resulting in a beautiful combination of linear and shapely forms of light that simultaneously cast above and below. Strategically placed panels of slumped glass, available in three color options, add a decorative dimension to this sophisticated sculptural collage.
